Every May, Pyro Shows conducts a special two-day training seminar in pyrotechnics.
The training is designed to prepare our students to be Pyro Shows’ technicians for upcoming Fourth of July events.
The classroom training is lead by Pyrotechnics specialists, Dr. Ken and Bonnie Kosanke of Pyro Labs in White Water, Colorado.
Each day of the seminar includes classroom training, as well as, the important hands-on training, featuring live-fire demonstrations.

This ‘engineered failure’ of a 5-inch shell, incorrectly loaded, prepares trainees in avoiding potential misfires.
